New commission: Alcides Lanza

Tzenka has commissioned a new work for piano and electronics from Alcides Lanza, which is to be realized with the kind help of the Canada Council for the Arts. Expected completion date late 2009.

New commission: Karlheinz Essl

June 2008

Viennese composer, Karlheinz Essl, has invited Tzenka to join his work-in-progress project, Sequitur. Dr. Essl (Professor of composition for electro-acoustic and experimental music at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts) is to create a new work for inside piano and live electronics, which will be the thirtheenth in his Sequitur series.
